Project News: EU FP 7 NanoTi project final Project review and Demonstration
NanoTi is a 4 country, 6 partner EU FP7 SME Instrument project which aims to develop an instrument that will enable batch nanoscale surface modification of titanium implants. This instrument and antimicrobial/cell adhesive nanoscale surface modifications have been successfully developed in this 2 year project which officially ended in February 2016. On 22nd of March, the final demonstration of the developed instrument will be done in Budapest, Hungary.
We are excited about the potentials about this instrument and hope to provide with the system developed together with our partners a commercial solution to an increasingly important problem in implantology : implant related infections.
