Double thin film-based sandwich-cell carrier design for multicellular tissue engineering In collaboration with INSERM UMR 1121 and Hautepierre Hospital we recently published a design of a respiratory epithelial patch for epithelialisation of ORL implants. The system is composed of two gelatin-based thin films that harbor epithelial cells and the supporting connective tissue cells (fibroblasts) respectively.
